Your Plan is payable as a monthly payment via agreed debit order against your bank account or card details. Payments is due on the agreed day of each month, in advance.

Please ensure that contact and banking details are kept up to date through the Hoot self-service platform and that there are sufficient funds in your account. Hoot reserves the right to increase the monthly premium once a year by giving you 60 days notice by email to the last known address. Failure to make payment on the due date will result in the cover under your Plan not being in force. A 15-day grace period will be allowed for payment to be received. If no payment is received after the grace period, your Plan will be cancelled.

Changes in banking details should be made through the Hoot self-service platform at least 10 days before the next payment is due.

After the cooling off period, you can cancel your Plan at any time on your self-service area by giving Hoot 31 days’ notice before the cancellation is effective. If you cancel your Plan outside the cooling off period, we will determine whether a refund is due or not based on premiums paid, administrative fees and claim costs to date (Calculation: Premiums less admin fees less claim costs).

Your policy is payable throughout the agreed term. Should you wish to cancel your Plan before the collection period and after some or all your services have been claimed for, Hoot will calculate a settlement amount, subject to the deduction of any servicing related costs of any cover you may have enjoyed. Only on the payment of the settlement amount will your Plan be cancelled.

Your Hoot Mobility Service Plan is NOT an insurance product and only provides cover for serviceable components as per your vehicle manufacturer’s specification. Mechanical and Electrical breakdowns are not covered under this plan.

Your Hoot Wear & Tear Plan is NOT an insurance product and only provides cover for serviceable components as per your vehicle manufacturer’s specification. Mechanical and Electrical breakdowns may be covered under a vehicle warranty and not this Plan.
